What you should know...
About Me:
I love, love, love photography! I live photography. I can't go anywhere or do anything without looking at my surroundings through a photographer's eyes. I wish I could carry my camera into to the store when I go buy groceries cause all too often I see an image that I want to capture. Crazy huh? But when you see that little girl pushing her own little grocery cart? There is just something really special about that!
You should know a few things about me first to see if I am the right photographer for you.
I am completely self taught and still learning, and I know that I will NEVER STOP learning. Everything that I have learned thus far about photography has been through independent initiative. That's just a fancy way of saying that "I've screwed up a thousand times but pick myself up and try again for a total of a thousand and ONE!". From the very start and still to this day, I spend a good deal of time researching studying different techniques and to ensure I am staying "up-to-date". I'd search the pro's online galleries and scratch my head and say "How on God's green earth did they do that?". Then I do every I can to learn their ways. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. But...I strive to be like them one day. I have a way to go but I'll get there.
About My Style:
If I could describe my style I would say that I am more the diversified and candid photographer. Like my music and wardrobe, I love all types and styles of photography as well, but what I love most is being real. It NEVER fails that I capture the best shots in between poses. This is when you are caught off guard and you are more comfortable...you're being you. Those are the best shots and it shows in the lens. I am all about capturing life as it happens and capturing emotion. If you like studio pictures that look like your picture should be on a Real Estate agents business card (nothing against that by the way, I used to be one) then I am probably not the right photographer for you. I prefer to get you "comfy" and then I will "pose" you. And this is important to know, because if you don't like this style of photography then you will not be happy with your pictures.
